PPD Partners with SOCAR: Azerbaijani Natural Gas to Enhance European Supply Security

Zagreb, September 2, 2024 – Prvo Plinarsko Društvo d.o.o. (PPD) began a productive collaboration with the Azerbaijani energy company SOCAR as of September 1st, further enhancing the security of natural gas supplies for Croatia and PPD’s customers ahead of the upcoming heating season.

While PPD continues to be the leading importer of LNG through the terminal on the island of Krk, the company is also leveraging opportunities to further diversify its portfolio with reliable partners.

This strategic decision ensures a stable and secure supply of natural gas for both existing and future PPD’s customers.
